Privacy Policy

ForkFind (“we”, “us”) is a curated food-travel guide. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using ForkFind you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account. When you sign up we receive your email address. If you use Google sign-in, we also receive your name and profile picture from Google.
• Saved places. Spots you save to your trip are stored against your account so you can access them across devices.
• Diet preferences. The dietary tags you select (e.g. Vegan, Jain, Halal) are stored to personalise recommendations.
• Subscription and payment. ForkFind Premium is billed by Stripe. Stripe processes and stores your payment details — we only receive your subscription status, renewal date, and a customer reference.
• Usage data. Basic, anonymous analytics about how the app is used so we can fix bugs and improve the product.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to run and improve ForkFind: signing you in, syncing your saved places and preferences, personalising recommendations, processing your subscription, and communicating with you about the service. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the app: Supabase for authentication and database hosting (email, saved places, diet preferences), Stripe for subscription payments, and anonymous analytics services. Each provider is contractually required to protect your data and only process it on our behalf.

4. Where your data is stored

Your account data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. Depending on provider region, your data may be processed outside your country of residence, always under appropriate safeguards.

5. Your choices

You can update your diet preferences, saved places and email preferences at any time in the app. You can sign out from any device, and you can cancel ForkFind Premium from the “Manage subscription” link in your profile.

6. Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing us at the address below. We will remove your profile, saved places and diet preferences within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain limited billing records.

7. Children

ForkFind is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in the app or by email.
